My son has been attending Swindon Basketball Academy for almost two years now & we can’t speak highly enough about how truly great Aleks training sessions are, Basketball has quickly become his favourite sport definitely due to the weekly high level, competitive, inspiring and enjoyable coaching he receives.

Alex is a really good coach. My son is a lot more confident and Alex says it how it is so if one week you haven't played well but normally are really good alex will tell you and ask if everything is ok. He is very good and i recommend him. He makes everyone feel welcome and puts them at ease 😊.

If you're looking for a professional basketball coach, you've come to the right place. My son started training with Aleks two years ago. Since then, he's developed and improved a lot. This season, he was selected to the new team in Bristol and playing in the National Basketball League. Work with Aleks definitely helped him get there. He is professional, experienced and has a great approach, I recommend him! 5 stars!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended Coach! I am incredibly pleased with the dedication, skill, and discipline that the coach at Swindon Basketball Academy brings to training my son. His approach goes beyond just teaching basketball—he instills strong values, work ethic, and discipline in his students, shaping them into not just better athletes but also well-rounded individuals. His commitment to upskilling the kids and pushing them to reach their full potential is truly commendable. Under his guidance, my son has improved tremendously, both in skill and mindset. The transformation has been remarkable—he has become the best player on his school team, all thanks to the rigorous training and mentorship he has received here. If you're looking for a coach who is passionate about developing young athletes and helping them chase their basketball dreams while instilling great values, look no further. I highly recommend Aleks Krsteski currently at Swindon Basketball Academy!

Alek is a fantastic coach, my Son has 100% grown in confidence with his basketball. The sessions are full on with plenty of training drills and games. Coach Aleks Krsteski creates a very supportive and encouraging environment for the players. He motivates them to step outside their comfort zones while ensuring they feel confident and supported as they do so. The feedback he provides is constructive and helps the players understand how to improve and build on their skills. My son has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the basketball club over the past two years, and it has been great to see his confidence and enjoyment of the game grow under Coach Aleks’ guidance.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding work being done at the academy, and in particular for Coach Aleks. As both a parent and someone who has spent many years coaching football and leading scouts, I have a deep respect for coaches who not only teach skills but also understand how to guide young people with care, confidence, and purpose. Aleks embodies all of this and more. His ability to handle situations ranging from the simplest to the most complex is truly impressive. No matter the challenge, he approaches it with calm assurance and always keeps the children’s best interests at the centre of every decision. What stands out most is his instinctive understanding of each child’s individual needs. He knows how to push those who are ready to grow, while also protecting and supporting those who may still be building their confidence. Aleks has a remarkable talent for creating an environment where every child feels safe, motivated, and capable of achieving their goals. His leadership is positive, consistent, and deeply impactful. It is clear that he not only teaches basketball but also helps shape character, resilience, and teamwork. We are truly grateful for the dedication, professionalism, and heart he brings to every session. The academy is fortunate to have him, and so are the families who trust their children in his care.

I have been coming to Coach Aleks Krsteski’s sessions for just under two years now and i can say that they have massively impacted both my skill set and my confidence levels. He is an amazing coach and has provided me with many useful drills that have helped me develop as a player. He makes us work hard, and that’s what creates discipline. His sessions have helped me both off and on the court. He always gives great advice and wants the best for his players. I recommend his sessions to anyone looking to get better at basketball, and develop their confidence.

The academy has not only met expectations, but exceeded them tenfold. Coach Aleks is fantastic at what he does, you can see his passion and enthusiasm for the sport is poured into every session. I’m so glad we found this club and cannot wait to watch him shine and grow as we continue.

My 14 year old struggles with social anxiety and had been home educated for almost a year. He started to get interested in basketball and would play alone at the park. I looked for a club for him to join to see how he would get on mixing with others doing something he enjoyed and I found Swindon Basketball Academy. Straight away my son joined in overcoming so many secret battles in his head, he had no time to stop and think which was perfect for him. From the very beginning of the session to the end the coach has got their full attention. My son has only had a few sessions but the progress he has made within himself and the skills he is learning is incredible. All the children are treated equally and no one is left sitting on the side lines. I could not recommend enough.

The level of coaching we’ve experienced is second to none. It so refreshing to find an individual who balances discipline with encouragement. Alex approaches the sessions extremely professionally and treats all equally young and old in the mixed sessions, it great to see the different age groups treat each other with such respect. Kids self belief grows and they learn to follow instructions in a positive way. The basketball skills come with time but the best part is seeing their confidence grow.

Having two boys who have played many different sports, including rugby and football, I can confidently say the coaching provided here is the highest quality I've witnessed. Coach Aleks is firm but fair with all the children, includes everyone equally and caters for all abilities and ages. The mix of technical ability, personal development and confidence he provides the students is first class and is well worth the investment for your child. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

My son switched from another local team, the moment a slot became available under Alek we switched. The moment I saw Alek in action training and showing his skills you could clearly see the passion in what he will teach. My son absolutely loves going to training now compared to his last team. He’s made a few friends while attending it is nice is the diversity of ages and how they all interact together even if some are too short to score a basket. You will not find a more passionate, skilled individual to teach your child the best form of basketball in the local area. Don’t hesitate to get you child on the waiting list and it’s one hour a week where they will have a smile from ear to ear. Well done Alek, keep the passion going.

Great guy as well as coach, really makes the kids listen and engage with the session and if they don’t listen he makes them run and do press ups haha, love sending my son to his training 🙌🏻

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My son really enjoyed his sessions with Coach Aleks Krsteski! From the very first training, Alek’s professionalism, encouragement, and clear communication made every session productive and fun. He puts genuine care into helping you improve — whether it’s skills, confidence, or game understanding — and creates a positive environment where you always feel motivated to push further. I’ve seen real progress thanks to his tailored coaching style and commitment. Highly recommend Coach Aleks to anyone looking to develop their game and gain confidence!

My teenage son loves going to Swindon Basketball Academy. Not only has he become a good player, coach teaches in a fun but disciplined way and I feel he’s learnt so much more than just basketball from attending. I would highly recommend for team work and confidence building while learning all aspects of the game.

My son is really enjoying the practices. He came in not know much and all the boys are very understanding. Couch Aleks is great. I would say more old school style of couching which I personally prefer.
